Can I use Remind without the app?
Remind available to use via mobile app, text message, web, and email. The Remind app is available on devices that have access to the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). The app is not available for Blackberries, Chromebooks, Kindles, or Windows phones.

Can teachers see messages between students on remind?
Contact information is completely private between students, parents, and teachers. All messages are sent through Remind numbers and emails, not your personal phone number or email address. Messages on Remind can‘t be edited or deleted, so there’s a permanent record of every conversation.
Can parents message teachers on remind?
On: All class participants can view other class members and send messages to anyone regardless of their role. A student will not be able to send a message to a parent and vice versa. As long as you have two-way chat enabled, class participants will still be able to message you and other teachers.
Can you add a teacher to remind?
Click on the class under the Owned section of your app. Select the Settings tab. Tap Add class owner. Choose the person you want to give class ownership to from the list.
Can you text your teacher on remind?
Sign in to the Remind app. Select a class. Tap the pencil icon located on the bottom right side of the screen. Choose Announcement to send a message to a class, or Conversation to send it to an individual or group of people.

Select the information icon the top right corner of the conversation. Slide the Replies button right to allow replies from the participant.

Can you see phone numbers on remind?
Students and parents don’t see your phone numbers, and you don’t see theirs. All messages come from Remind phone numbers. Teachers, students, and parents can access and download a complete message history at any time. You can always change your class codes and remove participants from your classes.
How do you join remind by text?
To join a class on Remind, participants text the class code to 81010. This number is the same for everyone—as long as the class code is different, people will join the correct classes.
What does a remind text look like?
When someone joins a class via text, they’ll get an automatic notification with the class owner’s display name. Each class announcement will be labeled with the class name, while individual messages will be labeled with the display name.
Why am I not getting remind messages?
If you’re using the Remind app, make sure you’re logged in to the app on your phone. You won’t receive messages if you’re logged out or you’ve deleted the app. If you’ve double checked all of these areas and you’re still not receiving messages, please click “Contact Remind” from within the app to email us.
