FL studio is actually one of the cheapest DAWs out there (especially considering most other ones make you pay for updates).
Is FL Studio free worth it?
Producer Edition is $199 and you get lifetime free updates. So yes, imo, FL is very objectively worth it. The amount of free features I’ve gotten since I bought FL in (I think) 2012 is ridiculous, and this will continue forever. Having said that, FL may not be subjectively what you’re looking for.
